The point is 1 cun directly behind [posterior to] the tip of the medial malleolus and 1 cun above [proximal to] the upper edge of the medial malleolus. alternatively, 1 cun below [distal to] the fù liū 復溜 point, ki-7, or 1 cun above [proximal to] the tài xī 太谿 point, ki-3.
