With the hand outstretched and the back of hand facing upward (prone), the point is located on the back of the hand (dorsal surface), 2.5 cun back [proximal] from the crease of the wrist, in the space between the two tendons (muscles), or, 5 fen above [proximal to] the wài guān 外關 point, tb-5.
